HUNGARIAN PILGRIM`S WAY

Tip: It is worth covering the nearly 600 km trail enriched with roundabouts, discovering besides the well-known places of worship the Catholic church of Ráckeve, housing one of the 20th century’s largest contiguous fresco-seccos in Europe.

The pilgrim's way from Esztergom to Máriagyűd, stretching about 431 km passes from north to south, connecting the domestic sacred locations from national border to national border, crossing three historic pilgrim’s ways. (You may walk on it towards Jerusalem, Rome and Santiago de Compostela as well.) The Hungarian Pilgrim’s way passes through the Ráckeve branch of the Danube and its region, connecting Szigetszentmiklós, Ráckeve, Szigetbecse and Tass.
