Fishing Museum
With the help of the exhibited objects and descriptions, visitors may gain insight into the development of angling and fishing equipment. Besides the bobbers, hooks, leads and baits all waterside camping utensils and related literature can also be found here.
The selection of the building for exhibiting the valuable collection was no coincidence. The facility that came to be known among travellers of the Danube under the name of “Black Eagle” was built in the 16th century, mostly accommodating bargemen and boat trackers. Due to its proximity to the pier, it was a perfect location for dining out and entertainment.
The museum is open between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
