CHURCH OF SAINT JOHN THE BAPTIST
Did you know?
...that the fresco-secco of the church is one of the 20th century’s largest contiguous fresco-seccos in Europe? The fresco-secco created by painter László Patay is about 625 m2 in size, its main theme being Jacob`s Dream.
The spire of the single-nave, late rococo Catholic church built between 1791–1799 has been built flush with the church façade. Its interior fresco-seccos were painted by Munkácsy Award laureate painter László Patay in 1994, who lived in Ráckeve.
